It's the culmination of quite a few things, though last week's almost descent into a major spat about what I was actually getting at in a post made me realise a few things. One of the major ones is, why do I blog? What does it actually achieve? What's it all about (Alfieeeee...)?
That, plus diminishing amounts of time to write anything coherent other than when my blood reaches boiling point on a subject means that I need (at least) to take a hiatus from interweb-related things and get back to the life I put on hold while getting ready for the recent gigs.
DIY doesn’t do itself. Though, having seen the results of some of mine, I really wish it did... ;-)
I will admit one of the major advantages to the blog is how it helps you meet people, but mostly people you can actually meet in real life, which is why it helps to be in LA.
And Good riddance, you Glamrock holdover! One less identically designed blog for me to compete with! Only 1.65 Million MORE to go before I achieve total domination!

Is this sudden 'retirement' anything to do with last week's short lived diatribe against all things hokum?
Has the foreign office, or a vengeful deity, got to you? I hope not.
Hoped to hear your thoughts on the recent gigs; I shall retain the RSS feed & live in hope of a U-turn!

Oh noes!

Hmmm, about time I got back over there, I think.
I'll look you up, Em, if you fancy lunch with a cranky old Englishman. ;-)

Isn't that before you achieve “total damnation”?
